Tee Time With Cale...

Sorry the video is sideways...So Cale's new favorite toy is a tee. Thank goodness he likes it because his daddy doesn't give him much choice. He gets all excited when daddy gets it out for him to hit off of. I am more than impressed at 19 months he has pretty good form. I just hope he has better fundamentals than I did and doesn't get burned out too early. It's so easy for kids to get distracted these days with things they shouldn't be doing. Pregnancy update...I went to the Dr. this morning and had another ultrasound. Although I get extremely nervous when she turns the monitor on it is nice to see the progress Lanna is making. Hard to believe she is measuring at 2 1/2 lbs and I am only at 28 weeks. We are staying with the C-Section date of October 9th, a Thursday for all you football fans...my wonderful husband who just happens to coach football in the "football state of Texas" set the date. Well he and the Dr...I really don't know why I even had to sit in on the conversation to be honest they had that taken care of rather quickly. I know they both did take into account that it is in the middle of Jeff's district schedule and of course it just happens to be OU/TX weekend. That's okay when Cale was born on Thursday we made it home in time for a Saturday Big 12 Championship Game that OU was in. So maybe we can make it home again. I don't think Jeff will be watching the small t.v. at the hospital that day...but that's just a guess! I go back to the Dr. in three weeks then every two weeks after that. I will keep everyone posted.

Has anyone seen Cale???

Okay so we could not find Cale this morning...Jeff and I were looking everywhere. We thought he may have even snuck outside. But Jeff was in the hall and yelled at me to come and look at "my son"...I knew then it couldn't be good.

I guess he felt like he needed a bath...because when we walked in the bathroom and saw he was sitting in the sink the only thing he kept saying was bath, bath, bath! Too cute not to share...

What a weekend...

Well it has been a fun Fourth!!! We spent the 4th with my parents and my brother's kiddos and then headed back to Denison to spend a little time with Jeff's family. On the 5th we headed back to my brother's fireworks stand to enjoy my mom grilling some burgers, homemade ice cream and lots of kiddos running around. There is nothing like seeing your own child with your siblings kids or your cousins kids. It was so much fun to watch them all playing like we used to oh so long ago. Pregnancy wise things are going good...6 months and counting. It is sooooo hot I can hardly stand to be outside. I go to the Dr. in the morning for the monthly check up. I am posting some pics I took over the weekend. I hope everyone had a safe and happy fourth!

What a difference...

Okay so what a difference a year and a half makes...I took this picture of my brother's four kiddos and Cale yesterday and the other picture was taken on December 2nd, 2006...Cale's first weekend home. It is so neat to see how they have changed and the new addition to the group...Baby Taryn. They all get along well considering the age ranges and it is a ton of fun to see them all playing together! Taylor...the oldest in the middle of both pictures was born in Feb. 1998 my freshman year at OU and then Tyson came along in December of 2002, then Trista in May of 05', Cale in November of 06', Taryn Oct. 1st 07' and Lanna will be here in October of 08. I hope she is aware of what she is getting herself into!!! It will fun to take another group shot in October to see them all together again. Just had to share some family fun. Hope your summer is going smoothly...we are enjoying time with Cale as well as the rest of the family!

Well...It's Gonna Be A Girl!!!

I am more than pleased to inform you that we will be welcoming Lanna Jae Wigington into the world on October 9th. Yeah...one boy and one girl and we are done!! My due date is actually October 23rd but due to my pregnancy induced high blood pressure, the Dr. is scheduling a tentative c-section date of October 9th. Yes that is in the middle of Texas High School Football and it is also OU/TX weekend. I know great timing....just get her here safe and make sure there is a t.v. around that gets ABC and I think all will be okay. The pictures above are the latest of Cale and Jeff with their matching shaved heads. Too cute.

Softball Saturday in OKC...

This is a picture I took outside the gates of Hall of Fame Stadium. It was Cale's first ever trip to the Women's College World Series and it wore him out. I have to admit it was nice being back there seeing lots of familiar faces. It was just weird being there with a husband, child and one on the way. I know it was that hot back in the day when we played but I swear it was like 200 degrees. We got to see Coach Walton and of course you can tell by the picture above that Sam (his wonderful wife) greeted us with a bag full of goodies!!! We thank you Walton's! I know that Jeff and I will fight tooth and nail over the visor though. It is the only kind of orange we have in our house!!! We were so glad to see them I just wish we could have spent more time with all of them. They were there on business and I totally understand. It had just been way too long. I also got to see two of my teammates...Kisha and Mandy. They sat with us in the Florida section as we cheered on Coach Walton. I am sure that was a sight several thought they would never see...three OU softball National Champs sitting in the Florida section! Ha...we were there for Walton though. I just hope he knows that we were all there for him.

I guess now the countdown is on...five days until we have our ultrasound. I just hope everything is okay...and the baby gives us a clear shot! Just looking forward to my first week of summer, home with Jeff and Cale.
