What a difference...

Okay so what a difference a year and a half makes...I took this picture of my brother's four kiddos and Cale yesterday and the other picture was taken on December 2nd, 2006...Cale's first weekend home. It is so neat to see how they have changed and the new addition to the group...Baby Taryn. They all get along well considering the age ranges and it is a ton of fun to see them all playing together! Taylor...the oldest in the middle of both pictures was born in Feb. 1998 my freshman year at OU and then Tyson came along in December of 2002, then Trista in May of 05', Cale in November of 06', Taryn Oct. 1st 07' and Lanna will be here in October of 08. I hope she is aware of what she is getting herself into!!! It will fun to take another group shot in October to see them all together again. Just had to share some family fun. Hope your summer is going smoothly...we are enjoying time with Cale as well as the rest of the family!

Well...It's Gonna Be A Girl!!!

I am more than pleased to inform you that we will be welcoming Lanna Jae Wigington into the world on October 9th. Yeah...one boy and one girl and we are done!! My due date is actually October 23rd but due to my pregnancy induced high blood pressure, the Dr. is scheduling a tentative c-section date of October 9th. Yes that is in the middle of Texas High School Football and it is also OU/TX weekend. I know great timing....just get her here safe and make sure there is a t.v. around that gets ABC and I think all will be okay. The pictures above are the latest of Cale and Jeff with their matching shaved heads. Too cute.

Cale...checking out that squirrel in the backyard! By the way Jeff laid that grass by himself, 10 whole pallets.

Softball Saturday in OKC...

This is a picture I took outside the gates of Hall of Fame Stadium. It was Cale's first ever trip to the Women's College World Series and it wore him out. I have to admit it was nice being back there seeing lots of familiar faces. It was just weird being there with a husband, child and one on the way. I know it was that hot back in the day when we played but I swear it was like 200 degrees. We got to see Coach Walton and of course you can tell by the picture above that Sam (his wonderful wife) greeted us with a bag full of goodies!!! We thank you Walton's! I know that Jeff and I will fight tooth and nail over the visor though. It is the only kind of orange we have in our house!!! We were so glad to see them I just wish we could have spent more time with all of them. They were there on business and I totally understand. It had just been way too long. I also got to see two of my teammates...Kisha and Mandy. They sat with us in the Florida section as we cheered on Coach Walton. I am sure that was a sight several thought they would never see...three OU softball National Champs sitting in the Florida section! Ha...we were there for Walton though. I just hope he knows that we were all there for him.

I guess now the countdown is on...five days until we have our ultrasound. I just hope everything is okay...and the baby gives us a clear shot! Just looking forward to my first week of summer, home with Jeff and Cale.

Yes, Jeff Shaved Cale's Head!

After Jeff shaved his head...such a big boy!

Cale coming out of the bounce house!

Such A Sad Time...But A Happy Time Too!

Well I am spending my last week at my elementary school. I have to move to a different campus next year. I am not at all thrilled about the idea of leaving the place I have called home for the past five years. My first group of kindergartners are going to be fifth graders next year and it will be more than sad seeing them off tomorrow for the last time. Although I will be in the same school district it will not be the same. I have loved working there and all the people I work with and well let's just be honest here...I don't like change AT ALL!!! I will however, learn to adjust and use the summer to come to terms with a new home and all that comes with it. I am sure it will all work out in the end. On a much lighter note...so much to look forward to in the days and weeks ahead!!! On Friday we will be making the trip to OKC to see some old friends at the Women's College World Series. My hitting coach from OU has led his Florida Gators to OKC for the first time ever and I haven't seen him or his family in years so I am very excited about that. I am also going to get to see some other friends I haven't seen in a long time. Hall of Fame Stadium brings back soooo many good memories for me I just can't wait to go back there even if it is only for a short while...and for very different reasons. Then the next week I get to go to the doctor and have the BIG unltrasound to see what we are having...I will make sure to post that as soon as possible. I am very anxious to see what's been going on in there! Well I have to go get some rest so I can be all weepy tomorrow with my kiddos and co-workers at school. I am leaving this short video of Cale at our inflatable day we had yesterday at school. He got to spend the whole day with me and play with the big kids. He thought he was pretty hot stuff!

Eight Days and Counting...

Wow...it is hard to believe that it is already the middle of May. Where does time go? I have been enjoying the end of the school year and I am anxiously waiting for May 31st so I can officially say that school is OUT!!! I was however told this past week that I will not be returning to the same elementary school next year and I will be moved to another elementary campus. Although for driving Cale around it is perfect I do not like change!! I try to avoid it at all cost. But I think it will all work out in the long run. Jeff has one week left of spring football and I don't think he wants it to end...I think I can say he has been sucked into the world of Texas High School Football!!! I can't believe on the 30th Cale will be 18 months old. Jeff has been laying sod in our backyard...he put down 10 pallets of St. Augustine yesterday by himself...he is CRAZY!!! But our back yard looks like it should be in a magazine. Well I guess that is enough for now...waiting for school to be out and keeping up with post season softball is all I have to look forward to. I will be posting some pics of our new backyard when I get a chance! Hope all is well in your world!
