Football Season Is Over, What A Year...

Well the Jackets season came to a hault Friday night at Texas Stadium. It was so hard to see it come to an end but I was very proud of how hard they had worked all season long. I am posting some pics I took at the game. I have to say that I am glad the Cowboys are getting a new stadium. That one was one of the worst I have been in. Dirty, old and no toilet paper. Are you kidding me with no toilet paper? The girl I went with took her daughter to three different bathrooms and none of them had paper. I mean come on that is just insane. Oh well...Cale was really well behaved at the game. He sat in the seat next to me the whole 2nd quarter eating his $5.00 popcorn. The rest of the game I had to hold him because he wanted to see the BEE. It was fun though and memories to last a lifetime. Not everyone can say they coached at Texas Stadium...but now Jeff can. Hopefully next year we can be out there taking pics on that star with the state trophy in hand! Oh and my baby boy will be 2 tomorrow...party pics to come!

Happy (Late) Thanksgiving...

Sorry this is a little late but we have been rather busy in Wigsworld. We were with family, getting ready for a big football game and party planning for Cale's 2nd birthday! Here are some Thanksgiving pics...I am all about comparing so there is a pic from last year too!

Happy Birthday Meme, Cale got tubes...

Well first I would like to say happy birthday to my momma. She and my dad drove an hour to watch Lanna so we could take Cale to have tubes put in. Thank you to them! It was so sad seeing my baby in a little hospital gown and looking scared to death. He did really well until they had to pry him out of Jeff's arms to take him back. From the time he left us until the Dr. came out took 6 whole minutes...a very long six minutes by the way but all went well. Cale had (in the Dr.'s words) tons of fluid sitting on both ears, making it difficult for him to hear clearly. Dr. Richmond said he should be hearing better and speaking better since the tubes are in. We are very grateful for him coming out to talk to us after it was over. It was very comforting to hear the news straight from him. Very professional of him! He is the dad of one of my former softball players. A good man! So now we are home...Cale has been asleep for three hours and Lanna has been asleep an hour and a half. Gotta blog when you can, right? As for Thanksgiving, we will be going to my uncle's house with my family and then back here to Denison for dinner with Jeff's family. But we can't go anywhere until football practice is over...strange for us this time of year. Then Friday is the big game at Texas Stadium. Here are some pics we have taken over the last couple of days...I talked Cale into holding Lanna for some photo ops and this was the best we got. Now all he wants to do is hold her! Oh and he will be 2 on Sunday...I can't believe it!!!

One More Week of Football, Texas Stadium Here We Come...

Well the Jackets won!!! We are now spending our Thanksgiving break planning around football practice and all that comes with it. I am so happy for them. It was awesome to see how excited they all were after the game last night. Cale had a wonderful time. We sat in an area where he and the other two kiddos that came with us could run and play and they did just that all night long. After the game Cale had the run of the stadium. He was literally running back and forth acorss the football field. I let Jeff chase him since I had been chasing him all day. I think Jeff was so happy and excited he actually enjoyed chasing him all over the field. Here are some pics from last night. Jeff and the Jackets will play Friday night at Texas Stadium.

Time Flies When You Are Having Fun...

(Setting a fashion trend...pj shirt with the green rain boots)
Well I can't believe it but we are coming up on our 10 year reunion...winning a national championship that is. I can't believe it's been almost 10 years. So much has changed since May 2000. I am happily married...for 6 years now. I have a 2 year old, or I will have a 2 year old next Sunday. I have a 5 week old baby girl and I live in Texas. That is the only shocking thing, I never thought I would ever live in Texas. I was Sooner Born and Sooner Bred and now I live in Texas!!! I love it here though, I love that I live on a street with more Sooner fans than fans of anything else. Two houses up is a former cheerleader and Sooner Baseball Player and across the street are two die hard Sooner Fans. I think he graduated from there. It's the perfect place in Texas for us to live! Here are some recent photos. We are just gearing up for the BIG game on Friday, if they win they play next Friday at Texas Stadium...a very big deal! One game at a time though, the team they play this Friday is bigger and more athletic than last week's team. It just doesn't get easier! I will post after Friday!! Go Jackets...

One More Week of Football...

So the Jackets are now a perfect 11-0. After the defeat of Royse City last night at SMU stadium football continues one more week. Jeff was so excited after the game. He has been so stressed out. I am sure the stress will start over again on Monday. We are proud of daddy and all the boys. Its so much fun to watch them have success. Especially because they spend SO MUCH TIME up at that field house away from their families. Cale and I went to the game and my mom and dad kept Lanna. I am sure she was loving the one-on-one time without Cale rubbing her head and poking her in the cheeks. She is now weighing in over 11 lbs. Cale will be 2 in 15 days. So much going on around Wigsworld. Here are a few pics from the game last night...

Cale having fun in the stands...he kept that hat on all night I was in shock!

Cale was sacked out...but not until we were about 10 minutes from home.

One month and one month shy of 2...

I can't believe it but Cale will be 2 in 21 days. Lanna is already a month old. It just amazes me how fast time goes by. I took some pictures of them at the house yesterday and have to share how much they are growing and changing.

We get to keep the axe...

(during the game)

Denison won last night so we get to keep the axe (Jeff said axe is the correct spelling) in Denison one more year. It was an exciting game and Cale was awake the whole time which was nice when we got on the field for pictures after the game. Here are some pics and a short video from the excitement last night...

Battle of the Ax or is it Axe...

Well it is here...Denison vs. Sherman in a battle of the undefeated! I am so anxious to see how this game turns out. This is strictly for bragging rights! Both teams are already in the playoffs and the seeds are set this is just for that AX and yes there really is an ax that goes to the winning team. It is also for the District Championship and furthering the undefeated record to 10-0. I am hoping that tomorrow morning I will be posting pics of Cale with the Ax for the second year in a row! We had to wake him up last year for him to get a picture with it...but it was worth it. I am posting a picture of Cale and Jeff with the Ax last year. Yes that is Cale in the middle of the team picture at the bottom. He did not know what to think about all that...good memories!

To Infinity and Beyond,

Well I had to post the Halloween pics from last night. Cale was Buzz Lightyear. The best $9.00 I ever spent! I didn't think I would be able to get him to wear the hood but low and behold I couldn't get him to take the dang thing off. He was pretty cute. Lanna is wearing a bow (don't tell Jeff) and a dress that my great friend Denise made for her. She is my daughter because she was not crying until that bow went on her head and I put that dress on her! I just hated that Halloween fell on a football game night though. Jeff's sister came over to our house and watched Lanna (our little Jack-O-Lantern) so I could take Cale trick or treating and then to the game. Yes, he did insist on wearing the costume to the game and was so proud to show daddy his outfit. I also have to post a pic from last Halloween when we dressed him as a puppy. I can't believe how much he has grown in one year...I also can't believe in 29 days he will be 2!!! No longer a baby turning into a big boy! Oh and Jeff won last night...9-0 and the biggest game of them all next Friday against Sherman our biggest rivals. We are both undefeated...should be a lot of fun!

(thanks for taking that junk off me!)
